Carmen Christopher: Street Special
After designing artwork for his Vimeo short film, Single Dad, earlier in the year, I had the chance to work with Carmen Christopher on promotional posters for his 2021 comedy special on Peacock TV. Known for his standup comedy and TV roles including Joe Pera Talks with You and The Bear, Carmen is one of my favorite standup comedians, so it was great to get to work with him.Street Special: Poster Illustrations
The special featured Carmen Christopher walking around New York City with a rolling speaker and microphone during the height of the pandemic to spread joy and standup comedy to the locals, which inspired the illustrations.
Street Special: Social Media Stickers
Street Special was Peacock TV’s first foray into standup comedy special programming for the network. In addition to the poster illustrations, I also designed stickers that could be used for social media stories.
